2004 Polaris Scrambler 500 HO ???'s

Does anyone know why Polaris changed the rear shock from the 2003 Fox piggyback to the sorry excuse thats on the 2004? Any suggestions for replacing the "sorry excuse"?

any shock comapny shouldbe able to make a rear shock, call elka, axis, pep, ohlins, tcs or works

Thanks for the advise! I'm just considering aftermarket parts for the first time-I've always just kept everything stock. Not anymore!!
