k i'm doind a price check on all parts i'll need for a 416 kit....i've got my engine tor right down to nothing and cleaned up....so its parts time....sleve is all ready to go to be machined so i'm gunna need what...cam, jet kit, piston&rings, first timer needin some help

there are endless options but most people do a cam, pistonkit, gaskets, valve seals, some add flow port and polish and a carb, and the list could go on and on......

what piston kit and what cams and what kinda porting are you getting?

dont really know what kind yet...recomendations???.....this would be my first time at something like this so all idea's/sugestions welcome

this is just me but i would get the JE piston kit, with a sparks cam, and mild play port.

im gettin a 416 done now. I have the JE 10.8:1 piston, hot cams stage 2, mild port and polish (match porting), and im getting new valves and valve seals (oem) Not sure of the price of everything yet. I havent checked my bill in a while.
