Someone show this thread to Muff, I'm sure he could use a good laugh.

wow i just goy back from the doctor and he said he is going to give it a week he said i coulg either have a bump or a bump and a scar so im going to see what happens in a week. they have me in this 8 strap to hold the bone down....

these vics dont help that much

im just hoping i dont have to go under the knife

muff
09-30-2004, 08:26 AM
i had the same choice, a bump or a scar. however my bone was barely in line, so i'm very glad i got it operated on, cause i know that its goin to heal a lot straighter now

the operation was quick (under an hour) and wasnt that bad

I'm hoping I get to see my x-rays from before the rod was put in .... they showed me before surgery but I was too out of it on pain meds to remember . Got any with the rod in ????

Also , did they remove the rod or is it still in there? Sorry about all the questions ... just trying to find out what I'm up against.

Can't wait for my first time through a metal detector .... I wanna see if it really will beep. :D

lets see, it took 5 months total. it was 2 years ago when it happened, i didnt need therapy and literally walked it off. the rod is still in there, and they usually dont take it out unless you start to have serious problems wth it. takin the screws is suppose to be a very simple process, but i havent had that done either.

as for the metal dectector, i went thru one at six flags and it didnt go off...i was disapointed ;)
