Just a thought but has anyone tried ceramic coating their engine side cases? I have heard it reduces exhaust temps significantly so I'm thinking it would work well on the engine too. Would the benefits outweigh the cost?

I think it might help and it wouldn't look too bad either. What's everyone think?

Ceramic is a thermal barrier. It will keep the heat in your engine if applied to the cases. Well, a little bit anyways, but more than no coating would. You need to look for a heat dissipating coating.

That makes sense. I didn't think about it keeping heat IN.:eek2:
