Can someone give me a detailed description of how to do a proper alignment on a 400ex. I am just out of ideas on how to get this done correctly.

Thanks, but Doug Gusts site helped alot. I got it set up pretty close. I am happy with it. I am just starting to adjust the new elkas. Anybody have pointers on where to start?

I live northeast side of town, race at PMP, and yes im a 20 year duner. Gojk Start out fairly hard, then adjust the compression down until you bottom it out and a jump or what have you then set it back hard a couple clicks. This is assuming they are compression adj. right.

Thank you. I was going the other way. Starting soft and working my way up. The fronts are nice. I just can't get the rear where it feels as nice as the fronts. It doesn't seem to take bumps well.

I mostly ride locally. I rarely go towards Tucson. I ride at ET motopark in Apache Junction every once and a while, and I will be making a few trips to Glamis or Buttercup pretty soon. I will let you know when we go. Me and a few friends keep saying we are going to make a trip to PMP but we never have.
