black 450r

can i see some pics of yall black 450's, i'm geting a 450 soon but i dont know what color, does it scrach easy, or stress marks, does the red leave mud stains or get dirty quick.

i dont have any pics yet, but it does scratch easy. the first weekend i got it i went trail riding. when we got back i looked it over after i cleaned it up and i thought i was going to cry(j/k). but oh well i guess the new is worn off now. spray it down with wd40 and your good to go.:macho

get black if you do dunes or drag race..if you go offroad & stuff then i'd stay away from it....looks tempting on the showroom floor but looks can be deceiving ;)

yeah, that glossy black doesnt stay glossy for very long. and sand will turn it real dull if you ride hard in it. it will look sand blasted. but sand does that with everything!!!:mad: 2 trips with my red 450r and it lookes sand blasted.

Yeah, like they said ^^^ the black scratches VERY easily. It doesn't bother me too much. You can only see them if your closer that 20' from the quad.:D
I don't know about stress marks, I haven't crashed it yet.:cool: Anyway, hairdryer or heat gun gets rid of them...

i am geting it for next year, i am going to only mx it and maby ride in some open fields, i hopfully can find a cheap, good running, stock 400ex or something to ride around insted of the 450, but i got to sel my 400 first to get a 450
