Watch out for the new version of adaware, it will wipe out all you system configs, you then have to do a repair and possibly lose all your unsaved files, check out this techsupporrt article

I just installed adaware to block popups, etc. about 2 weeks ago and it totally screwed with my system. I ended up getting rid of it the next day but it wiped a file out of my anti-virus software and that took my forever to fix.

I've got XP Pro SP2 and have had Adaware SE since its release and have never had any problems.

Well I know it screwed up a few others including mine. Just read the thread and maybe it is just a few hundred people.
Just thought I would pass it along.

You dont have to rely on adaware so much if you get the new service pack 2 for XP OS.
