Thats sick.... Very Nice color Choice... What color red is that? Pappy seems to do very nice work... How much to do A frame, and swinger? in that color? I might have to have you do mine sumtime this winter....

its translucent red over silvervein. a frame in that color would be $225 for a frame and subframe. swing arm would be $65

Pappy i got a personal question for you about powder coating. Would it be worth it to make powder coating your fulltime job ? Is it popular enough to make a good living from it (im guessing so). Do u do powder coating as a side job or is it what u do full time ?

Im thinking about going to college for either autobody painter, electrician or learn how to powercoat and have my own personal bussiness out of it.

Just some questions, thx for ur time pappy !

PS. those look awsome, that deep red is trick.

its like anything else, you will get out of it what you put into it. this will more then likely become a full time deal here soon as i have more then enough work to supply myself with an income if needed. right now all i try to do is cover costs and continue to improve myself.

autobody is a good profession and i have several friends that do that for a living. a body shop will have no trouble doing pc work as a sideline for income. the hardest part is getting the parts prepped. not many people want to stand with thier head in a blaster for hours on end, then there is washing, degreasing and masking the part.

damn, must be a kind of powdercoat by product so u just stick it on and when u bake it it flows out and bonds with the powder layer underneith.

thats cool as hell

bingo....

but the sticker would have to be capable of the temps needed to cure the clear powdercoat....or its possible they are using a clear that isnt a powdercoat at all.

i will call john this week and see if he will give me the scoop

most people just take cardboard and fashion a box and tape it up.

i think houser pc's the front of the a-arms white, puts a sticker on, shoots the rest of it red blue whatever, and the sticker bakes off in the oven. now you can see the white that was under the stickers

Pappy I got to admit: Man you do some sick shee!!! I love it!!! I was sold on the yellow vein yesterday but that is just sweeet!!!

I am going to have to get in touch with you. The dudes around here have not even heard of a yellow vein!

hey pappy can you pc a pipe in the red vein color, it is a big gn pipe and also keep the emblen i there? if so how much would it cost?

thanks
Danny

Pappy
10-01-2004, 08:17 AM
to do a canister isnt a big deal. the emblem can be replaced as long as its rivited. if its a glued on label the chances of getting it off and re-glued arent too good. i geuss it would cost around $30
