View Full Version : Infections in Computer.... Help!

I have downloaded 2 programs to check for infections, spyware, all that crap. Well both systems found over 200 infections, but in order to fix the computer, I have to purchase their product for 30 bucks.

Is there any free programs around that can correct my computers problems?

Have you tried Ad-Ware? I use that like every day just to make sure im not infected.

Go to www.trendmicro.com and find their free scan and then it will just delete the problems, same goes for Ad-Ware.

30 bucks is worht gettign rid of that spyware crap. I have Spybot and i think its free. The dude who fixed our computer is a family friend so he might have payed for it or something but im pretty sure its free. I had 500 cases of spyware when my computer got "fixed" he said it was his record or something that he has seen. My computer is still a piece though :mad:

Thanks for the help guys. I downloaded an older version of spywear that was free. The newer one cost money I guess.

My computer is running much better.

I bought XoftSpy for my computer, the first time I did it I had like 800-900 adware & spyware. And every week I do it I have like 10. You wouldn't believe how much faster your comp will be. The 40 I paid is TRULLY worth it
