Just in from the track.

It was like a mini Raush Creek with lotsof rocks and fast fire roads combined with steep down hills with some off camber feild sections.... Very little dust

Poor Tyler Lenig's Cannodale started on fire and burned up out in the course, look for pics to be posted.

Chris Borich put that 450r on the podium 1st, and treated us all to about a 3 gear burnout on the podium. Way to go Chris!

Sort of funny but I can understand the confusion and frustration......On the second lap, I got tangled with a slower rider on the MX course. I flew off the track and into a hay bail. I supermanned off to the left and the quad rolled to the right. It was a pretty hard lick on both of us. I rolled the bike back over and straightened the levers, hand guards and bars enough to get it back to the pits. Needless to say , I took the shortest route to my pit. After I got everything back in riding condition, I continued onto the track just to finish the race. When I went through the main check point, I saw that they had me as #1. I just thought that was my class and that eventually they would see that I never made the other check points on the previous lap and it would fixed. But from what I understand, they had me as #1 overall:p and thought I was cutting the course to win. After the finish, I told the officials what had happened and they eventually just erased that lap from my time which put me in 16th in the 33+C class. I really was not trying to win the race by cheating. After the unfortunate mis-hap, I was just out there to ride and stay out of other racers way. I do wish some of the slower riders would pull over when being pushed through the tight trails by obviously faster riders:( . later

On the course cutting subject:

I was standing at the Rock Garden near the start line, where there were tapes up to purposely bottleneck the traffic through the rocky section after exiting the mud bog. One spectator was lifting the tapes for certain riders to bypass the rocks, and I told him to stop allowing people to cheat and keep it fair for everyone. THEN, about six riders were seen skirting the rocks from the opposite side, and made what looked like a legitimate line upon entry, but was actually a cutting of the course, so spectators started piling logs and rocks to block it down. Two racers were there with Course Marshalls after the AM race to verify what was going on. Needless to say tapes and markers were up in place before the PM race started.

Yeah when I came through that section on my 2nd lap there were people pointing to lines around the rock garden. Those lines were obviously to far off the trail so I went straight through the rocks. It actually wasn't too bad, just grab a handful of throttle and hold on.:D

That explains alot of things to me. I was 3rd in the holeshot for the +33C class and by the end of the 1st lap i passed the #2 rider and then the leader..yet I came around to the finish line scanner and it showed me as #2 position 7:47 behind the leader..I was freaking..I was like no way wtf. someone cut the track..So pissed as I was ...I just rode my *** off and as I finished my race it had me as #2. They corrected it and I ended up winning the +33 C..my first win ever at ATV racing.
