quick HMF question

Does anybody have an HMF on their 300EX? Does the end cap stick out farther than the grab bar? If so, can i cut a little off the silencer? I really don't want to have an extended grab bar.

it doesent on my 250x, it stops right about at the end of the plastic.

if its the sport series no, no chance its gonna hit the ground unless the grab bar breaks off. ive dug my grab bar in the ground a couple of time and didnt even touch the pipe. I love the pipe only problem is itrs loud deffinately get the quite core

i have about 5-6 inches from the end of the pipe to the grab bar, its all good:cool:
