Since there is a question about their durability, what is the warranty on these babies? And who do we go to for warranty issues?

I just got one and it looks really well made... it is well worth the money and good piece of mind knowing what temp your engines is running............

Max400,

Thanks for the picture.

How long have you had your gauge? Any problems?

What is your normal oil temp when hot?

I'll be getting my guage in a few days.

I've had it a few weeks now, but only went on one ride with it. I was running about 250 degrees and it was close to 90 outside.
I just installed a fourstroke tech oil cooler so I don't know what temp it ran before the cooler, I got them at the same time.

Hey Mister
I am beginning to see how it is already. You need a camera for a better pic let me know. As for it being a peice of junk guys I dont think Chad would take a chance with as much money he has in that engine of his........I know I wouldn't risk several grand in engine work to put a piece of junk oil temp guage on it...

Remember A+B=C, but parallel lines do intersect.

OOOOHHH............ I see, you would use the fail safe method called just guessing the correct temp of your motor. I don't have a modded engine and most people in here don't, but for 35 BUCKs it is worth it, to know the temp of your motor. It is also easy to calibrate............Mister

Hey max400 where did you get both of those items?

Let me quess in about a month from now you will throw that junk away because it will vibrate the needle so bad it will break and then you will be lucky if you can read the quage do to water and moisture fogging up the quage. Its a nice idea, but better off putting a sending unit with a guage. The problem is where would you put the sending unit?? That custom meat thermometer crap aint gonna work. Sorry guys.

All that talking to you on the phone and I never even got your name!!!!

My name is Jason Shiner,
As in Shiner Bock....Shiner, Texas or fish bait. Hey man I'm trying to get some ideas on modifiing my engine but seem to getting no where. Talked to Marcus like you said about the kit, and then talked to a couple other places like Curtis Sparks... Sparks says to do all the bolt-ons before cracking the case open. You said your having TC do your engine do they have a web sight.

I have an oil temp gage I got from XR's Only. I have used it for 6 months now with no problems. Don't know if it is the same or not but I really like knowing my oil temp.
