POS 300ex problems

along with my 400ex, i have a 96 300ex. last i remeber about a year ago, it just pretty much stopped running. it could be something stupid like a battery because then, i was retarded. it's been sitting in my shop for over a year know, and am tryiong to get it to run. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!:(

Check your battery first to make sure its not that. lol. Check to see if your getting a spark, check your gas, clean your carberator-make sure there isnt any junk in it, check the compression. Check you valves and adjust them if you need to. Your spark plug wire could have came loose, or one of your kill switche wires could be loose or not connected, or the wiring could be wrong. Go from there i guess, hoped i helped a little, but i probably forgot some stuff. Good luck man
