how long of a race time wise can a yfz go on the stock tank with the cam mod done.

The biggest item that determines gas mileage is your jetting and the RPM's that you maintain. With a 170 main, stock needle on the 5th clip, and a 42 pilot, I can get 35-40 miles on a stock tank at XC race speeds.

:bandit: I have raced at pro level on fast track for two hrs and a couple min on a stock tank with 48 pilot......180 main, runin it hard!!

i do harescrambles with all the mods. and its will last the hole race just over 2hr but not much left to spare. i allso run it on rev . but if yamaha ever gets off there there ***** i will get the large tank

I just bought the 4.2 tank for my son. Call your local Yamaha dealer and give them the part number and they will order it. I got it and the shrouds from our dealer. You can find the part number on the yamaha web site. No one would even try to get it for me until I told them I have the part number then had no trouble. Good Luck. Momma B

Do you have a pic of it with it on? why do you have to get different shrouds? and are they included in that price?

no I don't have a picture but will try to get one for ya tomorrow. No the shrouds were separate. Now this is his mom so of course moms don't know much lol but I think he told me he didn't want to cut his sides up to make it fit. You can't use the side I call fenders that go along the stock tank. I will try to get you a picture and maybe that will better explain.
