I got a 2000 400ex and am starting to mx race I am wondering what would be your first mx modifications. I have already turned my front rims around and have pipe and filter.
thanks WIlliam

if money is tight....than some Burgard +3 a-arms and Elka tripple rate shocks. If you have the $, than a rear shock also. Than go for the motor mods:cool:

ALWAYS get suspension mods before motor mods, you can have all the power in the world but if the quad cant handle worth a crap then you can't use that power

Exactly, if you don't do suspension/chassis mods first your still gonna be all over the place. Get it widened and with its lower CG your laps will be so much faster and you'll have a lot more confidence to push it harder. After that i'd say tires. Even if you don' t have the money to get chassis mods don't spend any on the motor till you get the chassis mods.
