Isn't it just the choke? Basically they overcharge you $200 to put a choke in your carb.

How isn't it? It's the same basic concept of a choke...unless I'm thinking of another rip-off product that people are trying to make money off of??:confused:

i think it looks like a choke (in our stock carbs when the choke is not on) in how it just deflects air. i think

Someone else has explained this very well, and it basically just acts as a choke (when not engaged). So basically, they are just selling you a non-useable choke unit for $100-200 or whatever they are selling it for. So if you want to get one of those...just leave your choke in and it does the same thing.
