axle (250R in a 450R)

will a 250R axle work on a 450R? I know the 400ex axle works for a 450 but what about the 250R?

no i dont think it will work i measured the carrier and the 250r is longer by an inch i think

Nope, tried it. The sprocket holder is not in the same position. 1/2" or so off. You could probably have one custom machined and press it on to your 250r axle. Thought about it once or twice and said screw it.
