losen shocks?

you mean take them off? if so, open end and a socket, and take off the top and bottom bolts.

Just about where the spring ends toward the bottom of the shock, you'll see a peice sticking out, and several (5 i think) grooves that it can sit in. You'll want the one that is furthest up, which puts the least amount of pressure on the shock so that it feels softer. it easyier if you put a jack under the front and lift it up
