cheap way to a good suspension???

does anybody know for sure if the 400ex a arms will fit the 300ex? if so, how much wider are they? i,m thinkin about getting a shock mount that lets me use 400ex shocks on my 300. i already have the shocks off my dads 400 (he got some works shocks so we have extra stock ones) is this a good idea?

There is countless threads on this topic that you can read through but in a nutshell....no, its not a good idea to run 400ex arms on a 300ex.
