I have an 03 Z that is a year and a half old I put a new piston and rings on it in april. It has been in about 30 races since it was new should I rebuild the whole bottom end and top end this winter so I have no problems next year or just rebuild the top end.

i don't feel that that opinion is of the best. its best to rebuild the engine pretty much every winter...at least all new bearing in the bottom end. this makes for cheap insurance, b/c if this is not done, and you do end up breaking something in the motor, than it could do a few hundred dollars in damage, easy. i recomend to rebuild the bottom end every winter. the big bore stroker 250r motor i bought recently was said to have been rebuilt every winter, and it has never broken anything.

i dont think u should have to redo the whole bottom end every winter. if u maybe check the slack of the rod and the crank, prolly the bearings if run hard
