RPM is the best axle IMO. i dont see any reason why you would also need hubs though. your stock hubs will work fine.

my LSR came with a sprocket hub and new nuts for the ends. no brake hub on mine. A friend of mine that's a real good mx racer runs the rpm and I was told that if I hit something big my LSR's gonna snap. The LSR looks more beefier than the RPM and I haven't had any problems with it yet. I've been running it for about a month now

defintly RPMS.....ive seen Lonestars break, bend and snap countless times....and even if they are lifetime guarenteed there costumer service isnt that great...through past experience

the lsr axle is +2 or +4 . Is there any way or other brand axle that i can run stock with all the way to +3 or 4 ? I race harescrambles and the woods get tight sometimes. But then i do an occasional MX and would like to be wider.

I've used LSR axles the past few years and have had great luck with them. Only bent one and that was from coming up short on a step-up because my 250R decided to cut-out on me at the peak of the jump, it wasnt any fun.

LSR axles are cheaper and the quality is as good as the RPMs. I've had good luck to with LSR customer service but I've heard mixed opinions from other people.

To sum up my opinion, unless you are going to be racing MX where you are going to encounter MASSIVE jumps on a consistent basis and plan on doing the big jumps.....just get an LSR axle. You will be happy, plus they're cheaper! I got mine for $330, cant beat that plus the lifetime warranty!

I like durablue, but i guess thats not an option.

Go to any MX race and Keep a tally of how many axles break, and what types of axles are breaking. #1 would be durablue but people know better than to race Serious MX with these. Some people have luck with them but most dont. 2nd is Lonestar, they bend way more than they break. 3rd would be RPM hands down, its the strongest axle on the market. There is no comparison. you will see 10 lonestars break to 1 RPM.

Now this is strictly Serious MX im talking. Most riders will never even bend their stock axle. The Axle for the 450R that lonestar makes has no taper to it, unlike the previous lonestar axles. The 450R axle seems to be about 1/4 inch thicker. Maybe they are going for a little more strengh, not exatcly sure.

Has anyone bent or broke an LSR for the 450R??? if so let us know.

I have both axles and right now I'm using my LSR. I have probably 10 xc races and countless hrs on it and straight as an arrow.

My RPM axle is in the garage getting ready to be sent to them its bent after 2 races and I swear I didnt hit any tree's I have bumped off a few but nothing severe at all I was pissed!

I dont know if I got a bad one or what?

Either way ya cant go wrong with either of them.

Do the durablue axels break easy?

Dont hit any big jumps with that Durablue, itll break easy. Cdalextreme sumed it up the best. The LSR 450R axle has no taper and is stronger than the rest of there axles, ive only see 1 break and a local kid over shot a 85 footer and came about 20 feet straight down. RPM I would say for anything else but LSR has a good product for the 450R, cheaper, lifetime warranty, bend it they straighten it and if they do that 3 times then they give you a new one.

both good products, check with RPM about their new warrantee policy on the Dominator 1, its stupid, you have to purchase it separately like and extended warrantee on a new car.
