Lookin for 250x or 350x engine

lookin for a hopped up 250x, or stock 350x engine. 250x must have some type of bore kit. SOmethin that is more powerful than a stock 300ex. Either engine has to be in good shape. Post pics if possible.

I have both for ya..I have a 250X that supposedly has a WB 315 Bore kit, some kind of aftermarket cam, and a port and polish head job. I have not tore down to verify though. It was faster than the 300's I ran against by far though. The chain broke and cracked the case and it does leak oil, but can be fixed..It was replaced with a 350X engine so I do not need the 250X engine anymore. Will sell for a good price. I also have a 350X engine that needs some work..Dont know exactly how much work, but off of the top of my head I know it needs a piston, and misc nuts and bolts. If interested in either engine let me know and we can work something out. Thanks

hey 440 hows my plastic look onthat 350x hybrid? i think i may have me a 350x lined up for now but if it dont turn out ill let u know. How does that 350x run compared to your 400? is it worth the conversion and how hard was it to do?

hey man the plastic looks pretty good..I just need a new seat cover now..as far as the 350X engine..I looked more into it today and the cam journals on the head and the valve cover are pretty scared up..I dont know if it can be repaired or not and I also forgot that it doesnt have a cam either..I also noticed that the sleeve is broken off at the bottom..I guess you can say its pretty much just a good bottom end..hahaha. I bought 2 of the motors and just used 1 and never really messed with the other so I never paid that much attention to it..If you want what I have in the condition if the other one falls through let me know..I can make you a sweet deal. As far as how it performs against my 400, it is very close..I mean it is all stock motor and exhaust, but I have some plans for it..It has been raced against the 400 1 time, but my cousin was on it and he weighs like 240-250 and I am like 175 and I was on the 400 so it was close..It is hella fast though man..It feels almost if not better than the 400. You should do it...best thing you could do for sure. A Lot of money kinda though..easy conversion too..once you get the engine you will see how it all goes..just get the stock headpipe if you can..aftermarket is better and easier fit, but way too expensive and just get a carb and cdi for a 350X and you should be set..with a 300ex you will also need the wiring too I guess..with the 250X all that was needed was the cdi..anyways let me know what you think..Also I am kinda looking for a 300ex engine and all wiring..How much would you be asking for all of your stuff after it is pulled?? what year and condition is it in?? let me know..Thanks

i wont be lookin to sell the engine until i can get me a good runnin 350x. But it is a 00 model in perfect condioton. Completely stock and runs like a dream. Never been abused. Glad to hear the 350x will be worth the wait and the money. Keep your eyes out for a x engine for me and if i can get a good on one ill do some dealin with ya. later

Yea if you get the motor sell me yours.I wont need it for a few months though so you still have some time to get your X motor and get it all going..It doesnt take that long..A guy on here 01300ex or something like that has a whole 350X motor, but he wants like $500 for it or something and it will need a rebuild..I was supposed to get it from him and then I just needed the head and then just the bottom end, but wound up not getting any of it. Also check ebay too..Thats where I got my 2 engine..I got 1 for $100 and the other for like $200..It just depends on there though..I have seen them go for around $300-$500..CrAzY..Anyways yea once you get it in there you will love it..especially the 6 speed trannies on straight away..Its great..Anyways let me know when you get yur X motor and get it put in and maybe we can work out a deal on your 300ex motor..Thanks
