300ex to 250x

one of my buddies has a 250x feshly rebuilt and bored .30 0ver i was wonderin if i could switch him engines. Would i be losing some power if idid this conversion? and would it take anything more than just bolting the engine in the frame to make it work? How hard would it be for him to get the 300ex engine into his 250x chassis, with the batter needed now for the es? just wonderin. By the way my engine is stock and i got a sparks x-4 kn filter and rejet.

prolly have a lil more power then the EX motor,and no you will not need the battery,they are the same exact design basically,most stuff will bolt right up,but you will need a battery now for the EX

what about the airbox, airboot, motor mounts,pipe all that should just bolt right up?

everything will bolt right up there are 100% identical you could switch them both over and have them running in about 2 or 3 hours going slow i would do it get rid of all taht electrical crap electric start.

i think i may be goin with the 350x engine with the conversion kit from powroll. Looks simple enough, how much power would ibe lookin to get outta the 350?
