if your only mod is a 160 mainjet, your only hurting the power. put that stock 148 back in and it will be quicker. now, if you have a removed air box lid, etc. a 148 will be a tad too small. the rev box won't do what your looking for.

is it the rev box or the regulator, the regulator turns off the stator when your battery is charged.

get a stage 1 drop in cam, just do what you can and make it a sleeper, thats what my goal is

screw your neighbor, get a pipe ;) :D

seriously tho, I wouldn't get the rev box alone unless you want a higher revving quad, which some do.

It's a stage 1 so it's more for low to mid.

i was asking $75 shipped for the cam

yes, the cam was intended for more low end power use. however, it is more aggressive than stock so it will rev quite a bit higher than stock. if you have a stock piston, there is no way i would go more aggressive than a stage 1. my buddy just took his stage 1 out of his mild 406 and put in a stage 2. his bike is slower now. his 406 piston was only rated at 10:1 compression and i don't even know if that is a true 10:1. we do know it has less power in the upper gear with the moree aggressive stage 2 cam. i don't think he has enough motor to benefit from a larger cam. however, my 406 ran great with a stage 2. then again, i had a higher revving sparks pipe and a higher compression piston to match the cam a little better. i can still tell you the low end power wasn't fantastic with my 406/stage 2 setup. the stage 2 works great with larger bore and high compression whne you like bouncing off the rev limitor. the stage 1 provides more "all around" performance.
