I have got a set of Elka Triple rate on the front of my YFZ that work awesome, but until I can get the funds I am running my stock rear. This has probably been asked a hundred times buy the rear end is just all over the place when I am trail riding or racing, feels like I am running over land mines. Do you compensate for this with the compression adjustment or do i take a few rounds up or down on the spring?

Any help would be appreciated.....thanks

Sounds like your rebound is to slow.

How do you adjust for it?

At the very bottom of your shock there is a flat head screw on the side. Almost were it bolts onto the linkage.you need to turn it towards the left for quicker rebound. I have my rear set with the spring tension all the way backed off, The compression on the softests settingand the rebound all the way out. But you have to match settings to what ever front shocks you are running.
