pipe shoot out for trx450

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has seen or read a pipe shootout anywhere for the 450? I want to buy a pipe but I don't wanna lay down 500 to 600 bucks for a pipe that isn't the best type of power for my kind of riding. Please let me know if you have seen one! Thx

I have not seen anything myself:( ...
But I put on a Duncan racing fat-boy exhaust & jet/kit and Curtis Sparks foam air filter kit, The performance I got was big time noticable, craftmanship and fit is perfect Oh and the sound is MUSIC to the ears,Sweet:D

Sparks man....#1...sounds nasty...perfect fit and finish...im running the Sparks pipe...K&N pro flo kit and 190 main jet w/ sparks needle...thing is insane.

My buddy has a Sparks and I have a Yosh TRS. We both have HRC kits but I have a stock filter and he has a K&N. The Yosh makes tons more power.

I have the yoshi ti-pro I installed it at the same time as my hotcam stage 2. It rips im a big fan of the system but the header springs break every so often.

i had the carbon pro , no matter what the numbers are on that pipe it is a piece of crap , the worst fitting pipe ever made , i could not get it to fit , took it to a local shop (the one i bought it from )they could not get it to fit , sent it back to white brothers , got it back five weeks later :grr: , still didnt fit :mad: . then my quad got hit by a jeep( long story ) so the pipe was junk , know i have the esr , fit was great and power feels about the same

i heard the hmf ballance series is an incredible pipe, but i cant find any numbers on it. on their forums they always say it doesnt so much affect the peak torque or horsepower but modify the curve. anyhow people that have had it say it rips but im not sure why they dont show numbers ???

i havent installed my hotcams stage 2 yet, but the yoshi carbon full system not only rips, it sounds sweet. Throw on a UNI filter and itll be a totally new bike. so far im completely satisfied :D

Oh yeah, the quality is peerless, no worries here.

dude, the HMF sport series on a 450R sounds the best i have ever heard a 4 stroke run. i like hearing as much as i like my fiance in bed! LOL.

the ESR came in last place for the shootout for the YFZ (you should do your research)

im not riding a yfz am i , and on the yamaha it was third on power at 5000 rpm , which was better than the two pipes that made the highest peak hp and was only .4 horsepower off from the two best pipes so me personally im not going to complain , that and we all know dyno #'s don't win race's

Don't count out LRD. They have been making some serious pipes for 4 strokes for awhile now. The craftsmanship and sound are incredible.

i just installed the hmf bill balance on my r and i must say i was amazed,i could not have purchased a better sounding and betterperfoming pipe it is like i unleashed a beast with this thing you know how the r's are stock you are putting around in second and punch it and it takes a second before it hits with this thing on my r all i can say is you better hang on the ballance and the sport are similar as i asked the same thing when i ordered it its better to get the ballance because you get two pipes instead of one with the sport you get the torque modifier wich will eliminate wheelspin and make it a little quiter.the guys at hmf said i am looking at adding 13lft punds of tourque and around 8 hp and i will honestly telly you they speak no lies at hmf the sound will steal your heart to,the back off is so heartpounding i will tell you look no further than the bill ballance pro series.

I have the sparks, very nice pipe - but it's insanely loud. It came on my quad - if I would have bought one new I would probably go with the bb hmf just to not have so much noise - it's that bad.
