today ladies and gentlemen is a great day my laeger pro trax front end for my R arived at my house just minutes ago and I am probably one of the happiest people that rides quads at this moment in time but I can't put it on the R yet because the shocks are not here yet but i'm still excited as hel* right now i just had to let someone know about it an nobody is currently home to call so you guys were second in line now i just need shocks:blah:

I'll post some pics when i get my front shocks and bolt it on to the quad for two reasons #1 it looks lame sitting on my bed and #2 and the most important reason is I can't figure out how to get the pics from the digi cam to my computer but there definately will be pics when it's all together I promise

Well then take them off your bed and post some pict's. It's a Laeger front end it will look good any way you look at it. Also i'm curious to see how there set up.

Was the steering stem included? I heard they weren't for the 450r.

What did it run you?

I have a Laeger's protrax front end on my trx450r and yes it comes with a steering stem , the tie rods just don't swivel on the stem like the older ones did , i would take pics but the bike is torn apart.

mine came with tie rods spindles stem and the a arms I can't figure out how to make my cameras pis go from the cam to the computer or I would put up some pics and it cost me 2110$ I got it from baldwin those guys are awesome to deal with now if only I could get my shocks

I Have been looking into buying a front end for mine but i cant decied If i should go +2 or +1.I do all kinds of riding,From woods to MX and sand.

What did you get as far as width the +2 arms? Also what kind of riding do you do? last question was that price with the shocks?

laegers protrax frontend is +2 5/8 it was $2100
shocks are Pep Zps adjustable rebound and compression with big 8 click bottles $1600

first i would like to say awesome on what im sure is probably one of the best front ends that money can buy
secondly, its a shame that some manufacturers can charge us half the price of a quad for a front end and get away with it. there isnt any sport atv front end worth 3700 bucks imo. hopefully in the next few years prices will come down as the ammount oh ultra high perfoprmance quads goes up.
anyone ever wonder what it probably cost the manufacturer to make these parts ?
if i were to guess, i would say maybe 1000 at the absolute top, then all the markup just goes from manufacturer to distributor to us. just a guess though

thats why jrd only sells it for 895 and its one of the best a arms (geometry build customer service)
