Crappy lookin plastics

My plastics are dulled and arent shiny anymore, I cant afford new ones. I saw an ad for that Krylon Fusion plastic bonding paint. I was wondering if i could use some clearcoat (if they make it) on the plastics. I dont care if scratches stay in it. Dumb idea? If not do those plastic renews work and are they a pain in the ***? Ive heard they dont look that good. But for now ill just use the old Armorall.

WEll I had to respond to this one LOL, YES I use clear coat but now I found the krylon fusion paint in red & I used that & OH MAN it matched perfect & looked really really good!! I used "goof off" to prep the plastic too, to get all the clear off!! Anyway good luck, BTW I did roll my quad over w/the paint & it cracked just by where the fender cracked :( time for some zippy ties cuz I know new fenders are outta the question!!
