Is all this because of the Hurricane?

Always thought Nashwille was in Tennesse  and so far everyone that has replied to this thread has been from Pensylvania !!!! May be a dumb question but are these two states neighbours or something???

Yep, all because of Ivan...

Right now Pittsburgh is getting the biggest rainfall in the history of the city and county. As of now we are approaching 8" of rain since this morning.... keep in mind we got pounded with 4-6" last weekend from the other hurricane so our ground was already saturated big time. Now this current rain has NO WHERE to go. Major floods all over the city and it looks like the city itself might flood a bit... we are surrounded by 3 large rivers and they are WAY over flood stage.

we got alot of flooding around here too this week, but not because of the hurricane... some places got over 16 inches of rain in 1 day.. here we got 8 all together from about 8pm through 4am.. alot of the rivers are flooded and the roads were flodded for a while. go 20 miles south of here and everything is still flooded 2 days later

If you guys were watching the news, the road - Route 366 next to New Ken was fludding out, a freind of mine lives maybe three houses down from the place they were filming. Luckly i live on a hill and the flooding can't get that high.

This will not stop me from riding sunday, not at all.

Its nothing to serious here... but 20 minutes away on the border of PA, the delaware river is up 5-8 feet I believe... many of the small brooks here are now river size and we have a couple roads that I know of that are washed out... good luck to everyone else.... heres a picture from out my window. The thing in the middle is a bird feeder  . Another foot or so it would be level with the road...

over here were getting a lot of rain. we live right next to the local high school, on the back end of the football field. so of course all the water drains off the field into our back yard. its crazy around here. an accident a few miles from here someone was killed. roads are blocked, flooded where theyve never flooded before. its nuts. im going riding in a while. kick arse:D

yea it was pretty flooded here too. the appartment complex building in town. well part of it ended up flooded and now they are condemed. so now all those ppl gotta find new places to live. when i got out of school i tried to find flooded areas to drive through. it was sweet. came home and told mom and she was like "you just be careful." yea ok mom im goin back out. saw a couple ppl on quads riding through some spots. by the end of the night they had most areas closed off. i was kinda mad cuz my truck was lookin pretty clean:blah:
