i got in a wreck once and started draining batterys like crazy. We tested everything for clean wires and checked the voltage regulator and it was fine. I was stumped but then i finally bought a new voltage regulator anyways and it fixed the problem.

OCV on a fully charged unit should be between 12.62 and 12.75

hold your meter on it and have someone hit the starter button. it shouldnt fall below 10.6

also, where are you buying your batteries....how you fill and charge them relates directly to how well they will do. the new AGM batteries will not take kindly to a rapid fill/charge cycle.

Do you have the stupid whit brothers rev limiter cdi box? If so it will make your engine hard to start unless your battery is completely full and if it isn't then you will drain your battery completely by trying to start it over and over until it is drained.
