Hrc Kit!

How come the 450r a kit that comes with an exuast cam and filter, how come we cant just stick a cam in a 400ex and get some nice power gains without haveing to get a piston! or is the kit for the 450r (cam) not give much overall?

the 450 has a better flowing head, a larger bore, and a higher compression piston than the stock 400ex has. the 450r 10.5:1 where the ex is only 9.1:1

when i got my 450r i put the kit in before riding it. my roommate bought one with out a kit. i could out run him. he then put on a pro cirut full race exhaust. it seem about even. after i put on a trinity stage four exhaust, i just flat kick his but. i think there is a noticable differance.
