I have a 2003 300EX and it's mostly stock except for handlebars, jetted carb and no baffle in the stock pipe. I would like to know what a better pipe for me to get would be, a White Bros. E-series pro-meg, or a Curtis Sparks? If Sparks, what pipe should i get, x-4, x-5, or x-6?[B]

go with the x-4 since you have a stock engine

I have an x-4 on my 300. It really woke it up. I don't think I gained too much on the bottom end but the gains all the way to the top end are much better than stock. I no longer have to short shift to make power. I can rev out each gear much more before the power falls off. This is on a stock motor with a modded lid and UNI filter. The x-5 may be better for a lightly modded motor and the x-6 is really best for highly modded engines. You may want to look into HMF even though they don't make a full system the gains are very impressive. It depends on your budget. I personally stayed away from the White Bros because of stories about cracking welds and such. Hope this helps ya.

I run an HMF, K&N and jetted. Those are the only mods to my engine and the low end definetly increased. I will say that even with the quite core I have one of the loudest bikes of the group.
