THE FRONT END ON MY 400EX SQUEEKS ALOT IS THERE ANY PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE THAT I CAN DO TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING :confused:

WD-40 spray down all the parts that have non greasable bushings:cool:

just spray it with silicone lube.;)

BTW do we really need caps and bold?:rolleyes:

You should pull off the a-arms and shocks and re-grease the bushings.

greasing is a good idea, but along with that, dont tighten the bolts very tight, have someone keep pushing down on the front end while you loosen the bolts holding the shock a little, before i got my other suspension, my stockers did the same so i loosened them until it stopped squeaking. i was riding mine with them like that for around 6 months, so dont worry about them comming loose

my brothers 250 sqeaks all to hell is there any way i could replace the bushings with greaseable ones or just put grease fitings on the stock busings has any body done that

how long has the squeeking been going on? mine started one day and was less noticeable the next, then gone the 3rd.:confused:
