Bud of mine has an Suzuki LT 125 and it won't hold an idle. Carb has pretty much been rebuilt - still having probs. I'd like to do a compression check on it. Got the gauge but what is pressure range that is acceptable, the best method to check the pressure and for how long should it hold? Thanks for the help!

Back when me and my dad built a POS Lt125 back to showroom condition, it didn't run at all. It had no compression, and just about everything was broken. To test the compression, we foubd it better to have a gauge with a long tube inbetween the actual gauge and the thing you put in the plug hole. Have one person pul lthe recoil starter, and have another hold the compression tester on as tight as they can. Thise should give you accurate number. For all your needs, yiou should buy a Clymer Manual. Pm me for nemore questions.
