Design Contest (logo)

ok, ive been flat hammered with requests for t-shirts, and Harlen has the hook up for me to get them made. all i need is a kick *** design for the shirt.


"Pappy's Performance" is the name and quads are the main theme.

hopefully soon i will finally find a retail store front and expand into street bikes but for now its all dirt related!


the winner that i chose will recieve a free t shirt and also an EXR t-shirt and some stickers.

as far as i know 2 or 3 color maximium on the shirt

Pappy if I was the least bit talented with photoshop or whatever prgrams are used to create designs I'd whip one up , but I aint talented . My suggestion though , something very plain and simple .

Something like the Curtis Sparks Racing t-shirts ......

Pappy's
Performance
Coatings

with a little atv on one side and a dirt bike on the other .

Plain and simple make the best t-shirts.

And of course have your phone number and maybe your adress written underneath it all .

Another suggestion ...... Put Pappy's Performance Coatings on the front ( like small writting on the left breast area) ... and on the back have it written the way I explain in the first post I made and have a quad set in the background of it .... hard to explain but have your shops name overlaid on top of the quad ( or dirtbike ) .... maybe have the quad or bike busting a berm or something. Whatever you do , make it look quite simple . Just my opinion .

definayly have a quad doin a huge ***** berm or maybe a huge jump and the logo underneath overlaid though so you can see the huge air and maybe a smaller type logo integrated into the scenery or something idk just throwin chit out there

I like t-shirts that make someone want to look at the back of the shirt. I think you should come up with something simple on the front that is kind of confusing as to what the shirt is about.
Something like "GOT COAT?", "What does it take to Look Good?"
or "you may be fast, but I look better". I would suggest something of that sort on the front in plain simple letters across the breast line. On the back, Line 1 "Pappy's Performance Coating" Line 2 "Phone #" line 3 "website" Line 4 "another short saying "making you look better since 19??" Then have a siloute quad below the advertisement. I like plain and simple shirts as well. Just my idea........

Well, here's what I have so far. Am swamped @ work since zephead400ex took off today to go to the Royals game.:mad: This image can be rendered in any way desired, text, obviously size, whatever...it was constructed with Illustrator...hope ya like it. If I get some time today I'll get a few more together.:cool:

Pappy...Or any of the ppl desiging shirts...I think it would be sweet to have it like this kinda ........ On the front of the Shirt ( usually where the pocket is) have Pappys Performace in real small lettering and on the back have Pappys on the top in the middle have a quad and on the bottom have Performace.....simple :devil:

Hey Pappy,...are you getting these screen printed?...like just take them a picture or what? Those graphics I did are vector based, so you can blow them up or shrink them to whatever size you desire...just curious; cause if it can just be a PS pic & not vectorized, that opens up a lot more possibilities...;)

it isnt much...but **** i was bored, and only working with 2-3 main colors is kinda hard when you so used to using about 50..with finly detailed bushes.
