2005 400ex tranny

Anyone know if the new tranny can be put into an older 400ex motor? Or will I have to buy new cases and crap to do it ?


I was looking at the new plastic, I think it looks nice then I notice the new tranny. New gear ratio's and it now has reverse.

Well as far as the reverse goes you new new cases. But I don't know if you can just fit the forward gear in the old one.

Is the gear change for the top speed or for more power??
