What air pressure (PSI) is everybody running in there MX TIRES? And what MX tires are you running?

Razr mx's...and i believe i run 6 psi all around, i need to check for sure though...

but with that much air pressure wouldn't your tires just spin like crazy?

nah they work fine. Youre supposed to run high pressure like that in the MX tires. You run the low 7-8 pounds in the 6 ply razr's or razr 2's and most of the other manufactureres XC tires as well. I do run a little decreased air pressure in the MX tires when the soil conditions are very muddy or soft though...

But with that much air pressure don't your tire's look like ballons?
I know if I put 9 psi they look like ballons.

I run like 4-5 psi in my MX holeshots, and those POS's still wont hookup.

kendas i run 15psi in the front and like 6-10 psi in the rears depending on the track and conditions, i wouldn't run less than about 8psi if you don't have beadlocks.

i would not run that high of a psi as tc426ex suggests.

for rear turfs on a hardpack track 9psi
kenda fronts i usually run around 10
holeshot mxr/mxr4 rears i run 6.5-7 for a hardpack track, and 5 or so for a soft track

with beadlocks you can get away with running a lower pressure (mainly rear) and not have to worry about popping the bead off the tire. the fronts usually dont have that problem
