blaster to 400ex

i went from a polaris 250 trailboss:rolleyes: to a 400 and im fine also. it all comes down to if you drive like an idiot youll get hurt but if you drive sensebly(sp?) youll be fine

I went from a Blaster, with a Project Blaster pipe, Reeds, Geared for 18" Turf Tamers, +3 Swinger, +2 Lonestar Axle, Works shocks, Vitos Fat ******* Silencer, Ported etc...To a stock 04 400EX, I will never go back. You can bog the 400 all day and it wont stall, or you can be on the limiter, and it pulls the whole way. I love it and ask myself.....Why did I wait as long as I did?

Yes, you definately need to go with the 400ex. My cousin has one and I can't keep from asking to ride it all the time. They are awesome quads. You better watch yourself for a couple of weeks, just to get the hang of the change. It has PLENTY of power. You won't regret it!!

yeah, you dont nessicarlly need a new quad, you can bore, get reeds, jettings, new pistens. So dont think that your blaster is slow, stock blasters arnt the greatist 2-strock ever, there very riliable, but you dont need a new quad.

My blaster has eaten up all the 400ex's i've raced....buddy!!,of course its not your everyday blaster.

If you liked the Blaster you should go to the TRX450RRRR!!!!

You wont be disapointed, and you will have something to grow into for a long time.

Definatly I'm 14 and just bought a 400ex yesterday and brought it home I had a blaster with a pipe and reeds on it and the 400 is alot nicer.

i went froma blaster to a cannondale and im only 14 so i think u could go to a 400ex with no problems

if it was me i'de get a trx 450 r! but my friend has a blaster and he has 2000 dollars worth of engine work dune to it, but its blew up 3 times and this last time they re built the engine they put something in it and now it hauls *****!!!! it will waste a 400 ex! its the fastest blaster in our towne by a long waise :D

i whent from a blaster to a 400ex and i will never regret it.

I have a blaster right now, and it does okay for the time but when I ride my brothers 450r its night and day, so im hoping to move up to a 450r when im 16 and can race it, I just think the 400,450,etc...are built better than the blaster, and also size is a factor, if you are getting big for your blaster (same problem as me) I would deffinitely move up to a bigger quad...

yeah my old blaster beat stock 400ex all the time i went to a blaster to a raptor 660 with mods and im fine go with something fater then a 400ex i would go with the z 400 or the kfx 400 i like those i riden a 400ex cuz i allmost bought one when i sold my blaster if u are going to get a nother qaud make a big change step it up and join the big boys

im 13 also and people always think that i cant handle my 250r ya its a lot of bike but i like it and i told them i was looking into a 400ex and they said thats too much but my 250r could smoke 400s all day long i dont really want too sell my bike but i want a 4 stroke now and my bike is getting too be pretty expensive with gas prices the way they r

err, i road my friends 400 earlier today like for like 4 hours staright, and i have to say i liked it sooo much more than my blaster, its smoother, and its larger and more comfortable:ermm:


i feel bad, i dont know if im gonna be able to ride my blaster now :eek:

go with the 400 or 450. you could handle it. I rode my cousins z400 that was the first time i ever rode with a clutch and i did fine.acually I handled it better than my 90 probably because the shocks on my 90 suck and I didnt have to fight just to stay on from every little bump. im thinkin of gettin a 450r or dvx400 or 400ex soon maybe in a few weeks.
