what color

I want your opinions on what colors I should make my project 250R.
Black plastic/darck purple frame and swinger
black/teal
yellow/purple
yellow/teal
I havent really seen these color combinations, and I think they would look cool. I'm open to any other color ideas that are uneque and that would make my R stand out.

What color frome were ya thinkin with that plastic? I don't think the purpuke or teal would go too good with the orange.

The purple and teal that I am looking at would be meatal flake. The teal would actualy be the teal color that ford used on it's year 2000 vehicles, but with some minor tweaking to give the color more depth and mabey add more meatal flakes. I'm actualy quite fond of that color. I am taking an auto body class and I have acess to literaly any color imaginable. I was looking trough some color books and the purple and teal seemed like my favorites.

And rebalrider400ex I am starting to leam tords the purple frame and black plastics. I just got the idea of getting hipers last night when I was thinking about it and I don't know if I could afford a set. But the engine will be entirely polished, along with just about every other aluminum part on the machine.

yea do it its gonna look so cool if i ever get my frame done im getting purple and white fullbores or white maier with carbon fibor hood not black only becuase it you can notice the scratches so easily but black would look sweet ........the hipers are a must it will finsh off the quad so nicely or if not get beadlocks with black rings that would look sick

Chrome plastics and black frame. Or i think there is clear plastics, dunno though ive seen them in a mag.

I am not spending 700 dollars on plastic. Those are expensive. I think that clear plastic would look a little off.

At our state wide atv/motorcycle/snowmobile swap meet (haydays) that was last weekend, the brand named "ROX" he made this SICK, SICK yfz450, it was seriously insane how unbeleivably beautiful it was, it was Orange and black. I talked to the builder/owner of the company, 3 times(went back 3 times). He's a real nice guy, his quad will be featured in DW in december, btw, he has made previous quads in DW, such as his orange and black DS650 (he's the one riding it in the pic in DW)... what I'm getting to, orange and black, if you do it right, is the best color combo I've seen for a long time.-darren

I saw that 450... :D He's got the coolest hookups.. he also had a featured vforce in DW, and he has had some really sweet sleds to.. i want to know where to get pics of them..:eek2:
