Lift the front end and spin to the tires, listen for any noises from the bearings. Just check for general tightness everywhere, feel for anything loose. Flip it on its side and take a look at the bottom of the frame for any rusting. Just look for every single thing on the bike that you want to know about before buying it. Discovering rust in certain places will feel a ton better than finding all that kind of stuff AFTER you buy it. I just like to know exactly what is up with everything on it so I don't dissapoint myself by finding it later. Look at the electrical connections for rust, or anything else.

How can you afford that quad and all the parts you are ordering for it when you are only 15?

Like the others said...just check for anything loose or rusty looking. Make sure the bearing are good all around and ask him to start it for you and let you ride it around...that should be the final test.

Also.. make sure he doesn'n warm it up before you get there. You want to see how it starts from dead cold. If he warmed it up, he could be trying to hide a starting issue. Wait for it to cool if you have to.

Yea, I've been working for quite sometime and so have you, I was just wondering if he pays for his stuff or his parents spoil him to death.
