I was interested in looking at the WER steering stabilizer but when I went to their website it now appears to be owned by someone else. Does anyone know if they are still in business and if so do you have their phone number?

Thanks,

Dennis

There steering stabilizers are like 300 and something dollars, you are better off going with either denton or pep stablizers. They run about $130-140

Yeah, I know they're fairly expensive, but I've tried just about every other stabilizer known to man and have had nothing but negative experiences. Right now I have at least 4 dead PEP's and 2 dead Dentons in my garage. I simply can't get the things to last more than 2-3 months of hard riding/racing.

I've even tried the Scotts (over $400) but my IMS extended tank prevented it from mounting up and I had to send it back. So I'm really not overly concerned about price at this point. I just want something that works well and will hold up.

www.werproducts.net

I sent them an e-mail on a different web site wanting a picture of one mounted on a 400ex, and they forwarded me an e-mail back with the web site above.

Good luck.... I saw one on a 250r, looks real nice!!

Ex'r Marlin,

Thanks for the link! I'll be giving them a call tomorrow. Thanks for everyone else's input as well. I appreciate it.

Best,

Dennis

Yes, it looks like they let their old domain expire and it was robbed by domain pirates....

Yes, the WER will hold up for you better than the telescopic dampers, just be prepared to rebuild it once a season and change the oil every so often between rebuilds...

I've been running one for about the past year. I could get you a pic in the next day or so if you like - but it's not real interesting, just a round damper with an arm connecting to the steering stem.
