valve adjustment on 300ex

hey guys I need to know if the valve adjustment is the same on a 300 as it is on a 400. My "local mechanic" screwed up my little bros 300 and now it ticks louder than the exaust. I read the tech article on how to do an adjustment on a 400 and it don't seem that difficult. So I guess Im going to give it a try. I just need to know if the valve clearances are the same.

for a 250x/300ex the valve clearances are .004, both intake and exhaust. otherwise, its just about the same. i just did it yesterday, wasnt bad at all
