Sprocket ?

i just ordered one of thoes "great deals on ebay" the service manual on cd things.... anyway i havent got it yet and i was wondering how many teeth on on the factory sprockets? i am sure people have geared down... i was thinking of just going down one tooth in the front..... think i will notice? i do alot of hills and woods riding... i think the gears now are a little to spaced out...

If your talking about the 400ex, then yes it does make a difference. I dropped my to a 14 tooth and like it better. There is a link on this web site that will help you out.

yup 15 tooth countershaft sprocket stock. cant find a 13 though.

smaller up front or larger out back = bottom end speed
bigger up front or smaller out back = top end speed
1 tooth up front equal around 2-3 out back
