actually I found this Turbo Blue in Bettendorf Iowa. It says 116 octane on the pump which Im guessin is Extreme Turbo Blue and leaded. Can I run leaded gas? and if so can I mix it with unleaded?
About the compression....Im not sure yet what it is...I bought the quad from a dealer in Freeport IL (which if your anywhere close avoid at all costs) and they havent given me a response as to what comp piston is in it. They did the kit by the way...I believe they said it was an IMS kit.

(Id love to tell everyone a little more about this dealer but I dont have enough energy to type all the negative comments I can come up with nor do I want to slander anyones "buddy" that may work there. Lets just say it was the worst buying experience Ive ever had.)
So ....how bout that gas?

I run a 50/50 mix of 76's gas called Trick (117octane) and premium 92, I like it seems to run very well with that mix.

Leaded gas is actually better to run in your motor because the lead in the fuel will keep everything in your motor cooler. The only reason why you can't run leaded gas in a car is because it would destroy the cadilited convertor and would porbaly also violate emissions regulations.

lead is good for your motor actually. Almost ALL engine builders reccomend running gas with a lead additive, i run VP c12 and it has lead in it also

I guess to answer your question is that it varies... 114-118, so maybe where you are buying it.. it is at 112...dunno
