the act of placing the carrier in the swing arm is easy:devil:
the hardest part of a carrier replacement is usually the lock nut removal.

no no no pappy....prolly get the hub nut off if you don't have anythign to give you leavarage(Sp?)otherwise it is cake....should come out wiht a rubber mallet
first, how do you take off the hubs. second, i don;t think i will need the rubber mallet becasue its snapped in 2 pieces and half is just sitting on ym axle.lol. but you guys think i can do it myself insteads of bringing it in

i did everything by myself on my 300 once you do it,nothing will ever stop you,you will need a 1 1/8 socket for the hub nut, thats not hard take that off....then you will need a money wrench taht can open at least 1 1/4 icnh to get the locknut off...it is reverse trheaded to get that, but first you have to get the lock-ring thingy on the axle, you will see it,all you have to do is turn the lock nut the other way to let the pressure off of it then snap it off, slide it off the axle, then take the locknut off, then the other part of it,and the chain off,as well, and brake caliper, and brake caliper mount thingy, reasammle and ride dat beast
beast. haha. i wouldn;t say that.lol. is a money wrench the same as a tourge wrench. and whats open it 1 1/8 mean. sorry i usually don't work on my quad but this time i am doing it with ym friend and he is poretty goof

never heard of a money wrench....and 1 1/8 INCHES and 1 1/4 INCHES,other and you will need a 12 MM socket for the caliper and 14 or 15 for the nuts on the sprocket, and also a allen key but i don't know the size...but make sure you take the hub nut off first otherwise you won't ever get it off if you remove the chain first cause the chain holds the axle in place so it dun move
ok man. thanx alot for the info. helped a lot. i will let you know how it turns out

ok man,let me know if you need anything else....also when the caliper bracket, that will take a lil hitting to get off, that is a lil toughy but nothing just hit it lightly in place with a hammer....LIGHTLY on each side till it comes out,it won't break or anything so you can hit it a lil harder if you have to,but otherwise you should be good
