Kill switch installation on 300EX

I need help on how to install my Pro Design kill switch. I don't know where to put the long positive wire. Will somebody help me please?

The ignition (the little black box) under the right fender, find the black wire with the yellow stripe coming out of it. Take the positive from the kill switch, and splice it into that wire, then ground the negative from the kill switch. I wrapped my negative wire around the screw on the left fender mount, then screwed it in.

now i keep blowing fuses everytime i hook up the kill switch. What do i do now?

I am from Topeka, Kansas where r u from? I raced at Dragoon last weekend and it was pretty crazy. But I don't know what to do now because i keep blowing fuses. What should i do?

Not sure man, mine worked fine the first time. Check and make sure your positive wire isn't hitting anything other than the black ignition wire with the yellow stripe. I double checked mine, and thats the wire i'm spliced into. I'm from Marysville, its about 1 and 1/2 hour drive from topeka. Ever been to thunderhill at Mayetta? I went with my friends a few times for practice. They have 125 dirtbikes and leave me in the dust, but its a pretty sweet track.

yea i have been out there and a few guys make fun of me because i have a 300 EX but i love mine to death, did u ever modify your body plastic? I was thinking about cutting mine but i am not for sure.

Never cut mine. I like the full fenders. I felt a little stupid on my 300, but i love mine too, it suits me well. Had kids on 80's roostin me like crazy. Ya, the only other quad there when i was there, was a guy from Manhattan, and he had a totally pimped out yfz450. He was a pretty nice guy, and a dang good rider. Is your 300 pure red and had weight in the front? I saw one like that come in when i was there.

Splice into the black yellow wire on the coil. One wire from the kill switch to the black yellow and the other wire to the frame for a ground. Can't get much simplier than that. Don't worry I blew 14 fused trying to get mine hooked up correctly on the 300 before I listened to everybody and did it this way. NEVER blew a fuse after that. Hooked it up the same way on my 400ex and a friend's yfz450.
