I took the advice of this forum a while ago and took the preload out (about 1.5 threads showing) of my front susp. Which resulted in alot better cornering. Just wondering, how many have done the same?

I did it also. No regrets what so ever!! Just like riding a totally different machine.

Your bike should bottom out slightly at one or two places on the track anyways. Turn up compression if it does more

yeah i also took some preload out, but i left like 2 threads showing. and yes i felt it bottom some so i turned it donw with like 4 or 5 threads showing and it really helped out alot. my compression is also a half turn form hard up front. i did take some out of rear too, i can't remamber right off hand what # of threads i left but i have compression half turn off hard and it works great in the rear. and i know everyone has been talkin about how the rear kicks and ****. well i have noticed it but it ain't nothin that a little suspension tunin can't help and mine doesn't really do it bad either. just my $0.02 worth.
