2004 or 2005?

I'm getting a 450r next week and I can't decide between the 2004 or 2005 model. The dealer wants $500 more for a 2005 model. Do you guys think it's worth the extra 500 bucks for the 2005?

dude the only difference between the 2 are colors. the 2005 model comes in 2 colors. red and black. if you're goin with the red color then i would get an 04.

Even though Honda says no changes I would go for the '05. There might be some small improvements in things such as welds,bearings,seals,stronger metals,ect. I bought an '05 for my new bike for only $200 more. Work on the dealer or check around for a better price.

Has anybody compared the part number lists from 04 vs 05 yet? Obviously things like better welds aren't going to be in there, but little part changes might show up as a different number...

I wish the dealer would come down more for an 05 but he has like 15 04's left and wants them gone. I'm getting a good price though (for So. Cal.)

I heard early 04's had ****tier welds than late model 04's.
