440 oil temp?

Anyone know what is a safe oil temp in a 440 with 11.8 comp,stage 2 cam, ported head. etc.?

The highest I have seen mine is 255* normal I think is 245*.

I would say the max temp. I would personally dare to run at would be 275*. I would be happy staying under that.

I think motor oil starts to break down at 300*.
