Ok it's not really a challenge here but I didn't know what to put as a title . Anyways I was reading Guetters post in the freestyle section about him flipping a sled . I think this guy has really lost his marbles LOL .... Just joking Jon . But yeah ... winter is just around the corner for many northern folks ... be it in Canada or northern US states . I was just wondering how many people on here race snowcross to help keep in shape because they can't race their ATVs during the snowy season .
Ridding a snowcross sled is a little more demanding than an ATV , but it does have its simularities . The sled is a bit heavier ( New Ski-Doo REV 440 weighs 425 LBS) and requires a LOT of body english to throw it around and correct it while in the air . But you still use all the same muscles as in ATV racing .
I know if I wasn't hurt this year , I'd be riding snowcross to get myself in shape for the upcomming 2005 MX season ( our season ends in 2 weeks) . My question is ... who here rides snowcross to keep in shape ... to keep busy during the winter ... or for just plain old fun ???
www.skidoo.com .... check out the new 440 REV race sled .... thing that excited me the most was the Pipe Pre-heat button . press this buttom ... switches the timming of the sled allowing the pipe to heat up better which in return makes for a better holeshot . Thumbs up to BRP/Ski-Doo for offering this to the public and not making it an aftermarket only part .
